Charles de Mills

An incredibly beautiful rose with lovely double, flat, quartered blooms that are coloured cerise to dark purple with grey and maroon with a green eye.  The large flowers have a fantastic heady perfume that is exquisite.  Massed spring-flowering makes this rose an incredible sight.  Upright growing shrub with virtually no thorns to 1.8 x 1.2m.  Discovered in the Netherlands about 1700.
