Salvia adenophora

This Salvia comes from the Mexican region of Oaxaca.  It has small bright orange-red furry flowers with bright green sticky foliage.  Best in part shade and requires water to do well.  Tender perennial that’s not frost tolerant.  Well worth the effort in a pot undercover or in the garden in a milder area.  Grows to about 1.5-2 x 1.5m.
